Assigned Pooling or the „floated Roundabout”

and I are absolutely thrilled with Nicolor's Roundabout Roundabout

and talked about knitting the sweater yoke in the assigned pooling method after the Pattern Float by Dawn Barker.

No sooner said than done, here you can see how beautifully the combination of these two patterns works.

 

Of course, we also needed the wool dyed to match. It was great fun to develop new dyes for this type of knitting. Actually, one would need only two different colors in one skein, but that was too boring for me personally. too boring.

The goal was a strong color for the clusters or bobbles and to create a lively background, which is nevertheless restrained and wonderfully with my Semisolids combinable.
